Log-ons & lace
Article Abstract:
Lingerie has become more available on the Internet to buyers in Canada, due to the launch of respective sales websites by lingerie firms such as La Vie en Rose, La Senza and Linda Lingerie International in fall-1999. Aside from attracting women to buy the merchandise online, the websites are also designed to provide men with a less conspicuous means of selecting and purchasing the products. The online lingerie retailers are reporting positive results for e-commerce sales, amid previous surveys that indicate many buyers are not inclined to purchase lingerie online.
