Bosch lowers its prices
Article Abstract:
Robert Bosch (RB) (Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic), automotive component manufacturer, plans to assert itself with products for other car models. Conditions are the good quality and price of the firm's components, which include accelerator pedals. RB's long-term contracts with consumers often include provisions about a gradual decrease in the price of supplied goods due to strong competition. That is why RB has to decrease its costs. RB has nearly 1,800 employees in 2001 compared to 700 persons in 1995 and only 320 persons in 1992. RB is a part of the concern Bosch (Germany), which has four plants with a total of 4,000 employees in the Czech Republic.
