A line of Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux will save millions of Czech crowns

Article Abstract:

Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux (SLE) (France), water company, generated a turnover of CEK 4.1 bil in the Czech Republic in 2000. The firm supplies water to 2.25 mil inhabitants in the Czech Republic through the local water companies in which it holds stakes. In the Czech Republic, SLE has 4,130 employees. Currently, SLE is involved in the experimental modernization of a sewage treatment plant (STP) in Ostrov-nad-Ohri, the Czech Republic, through the Czech branch Lyonnaise CR (Czech Republic). The costs on the project should be only about CEK 9 mil due to the utilization of SLE's original procedure. The price of the classic modernization of STP is CEK 20-22 mil. The construction of a new STP would cost more than CEK 50 mil.

Millions of Czech crowns for the cleaning of coaches

Article Abstract:

Ceske drahy (CD) (Prague, Czech Republic), Czech Railways, spent about CEK 265 mil on the cleaning of its coaches and sanitary supplies for the railway cars in 2000. Nearly CEK 22 mil are spent on the purposes at a total of CD's 11 railway car depots (RCD) every month. More than 20% of the sum are the costs of RCD Prague, which dispatches regional transport trains and several long-distance inland and international transport sets. CD's 11 RCDs clean a total of 3,974 railway cars per day. Some selected long-distance domestic trains of the higher category and international trains are cleaned while moving.
