Article Abstract:
The Asian Sources Media (ASM) Web site features a large number of small and medium-sized Asian companies. Purchasers can investigate its pages to obtain information about more than 46,000 products from 7,000 manufacturers, most of which do not use even the most basic computer technology themselves. Electronic mail is now used by 92% of ASM's clients, but ASM is able to collate any enquiries from suppliers in remote areas where Internet access is difficult and fax them to the client.
