Microsoft moves to MacLaren
Article Abstract:
Microsoft Canada Inc has transferred its advertising account to MacLaren McCann of Toronto, Ontario. The move, which comes as a major blow to fellow Toronto-based agency Publicis Canada, is part of Microsoft's global realignment of its ad business with McCann-Erickson WorldGroup that is set to take effect on Jul 1, 2001. Publicis won the C$25-million account in 2000 over a field that also included Leo Burnett, Young and Rubicam and MacLaren McCann.
