More than just Boots and lace
Article Abstract:
Nottingham, East Midlands, England, is likely to be affected by the general economic slowdown in the UK economy but it will benefit from lower prices for company purchasers and therefore improve the private investment market. The gross domestic product for the region is predicted to have risen from 18 billion pounds sterling in 1971, to 36 billion pounds sterling in 1998. The East Midlands is an important area for management buy-ins and buyouts. ECI moved into Nottingham to take advantage of business opportunities in the region and to utilize local expertise.
