Not carved in stone
Article Abstract:
The Elgin marbles are housed in the British Museum, London, England, and should be returned to Greece. This is not a legal or a moral issue, but an artistic one. The marbles could be reassembled on the site they came from, and Greece plans to protect them from the impact of air pollution. Such a move could create a precedent for works of art held in museums world wide, which could create problems, but the issue should at least be debated and a free vote allowed in the British parliament.

Stons to die for
Article Abstract:
The Elgin Marbles came from the Parthenon, Athens, and are housed in the British Museum in London, England. There has been a dispute between Britain and Greece, which has pressed for the return of the Elgin Marbles. Most British members of parliament from the Labor and Liberal Democrat parties favor their return, though Ulster Unionists and Conservatives are more likely to oppose it. Changes to the Acropolis museum mean that the Elgin Marbles could be safely looked after in Greece.
