Not in the cards
Article Abstract:
A former user of the cancelled Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC)/Ford Visa credit card ponders on the lessons he learned when he filed a small claims lawsuit against CIBC for terminating the loyalty program. He discovered that CIBC does not really care about its customers despite its sweet TV ad imagery. He also adds that banking institutions are out of touch when the latter cry how 'poor' they are. CIBC says that the Ford Visa is its most expensive credit card program but it still made C$1 billion in profits.
