Nucor posts higher profit; steel glut may be easing

Nucor Corp. of the United States posted a soaring 20 percent increase in fourth quarter earnings to $408.2 million from $341 million last year. Revenues increased by eight percent to $3.47 billion from $3.21 billion. The glut in the United States steel market is easing and prices for steel are increasing.
