Oh, what a lovely wall
Article Abstract:
The Allied Museum opened in Berlin, Germany, in Jun 1998 is sponsored by Germany, France, the UK and the US. Visitors to the museum who are not familiar with the history of the city may gain the misguided impressions that the allied presence in Berlin was completely disinterested, that it was wholly welcomed and that it was completely beneficial. There is no sense of how resented certain elements of the allied presence were, and no mention is made either of divisions among the allies.

Bringing Texas up to date
Article Abstract:
Museum architecture in Texas will attract attention following the completion of four new museums, with a further project being considered. Private philanthropic foundations have benefited from high stock prices, and there are funds to spare for such projects. The information industry has also generated wealth for building museums. Projects include the Museum of Modern Art, Fort Worth, and two museums being built in Austin, The Austin Art Museum and the Blanton Museum of Art.

The quays to success
Article Abstract:
Salford and Walsall are both deprived urban regions in England which have used funds from the National Lottery to build art galleries. The Lowry is an arts complex in Salford which honors L.S. Lowry a local artist, and Walsall has its New Art Gallery, which is a smaller project. Inward investment has started to come to Salford, and has been helped by the arts complex.
