The war is dead, long live the war
Article Abstract:
A peace agreement has been signed by governments involved in a conflict in Congo, with six government heads agreeing to peace, with disarmament to be followed by withdrawal and then the entry of a peacekeeping force from the United Nations (UN). There is concern that the rebels may not agree to end the conflict, though the governments concerned do not wish to continue fighting. There is also concern that the UN does not have the resources for an effective peacekeeping operation.

Article Abstract:
Rwanda and Uganda seem to have pulled back from the threat of war, following UK-brokered talks between the two countries' presidents. Tensions between Uganda and Rwanda have grown since a disagreement over the war in Congo, and there is also a clash of personalities between their two presidents.
