Optimal strategy of route and look for the path constrained search problem with reward criterion
Article Abstract:
An optimal strategy was developed for the development of an optimal strategy for the path constrained search problem for maximizing the expected reward in cases wherein the travelling cost was cheap and negligible. The branch and bound method provides an optimal solution based on the upper bound estimations of the expected reward to reduce computational time compared to the enumeration method. Furthermore, the optimal solution derived from the branch and bound method maximizes reward which was defined as the expected value minus the expected cost.
