Outrage in Kosovo
Article Abstract:
Monitors working under the auspices of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe believe that there is strong evidence that the killings of 45 ethnic Albanians, including old men and children, in Kosovo, Yugoslavia, were undertaken in cold blood by Serbs. Some observers believe that NATO should now undertake air attacks against the Serbs, but this in itself would not address all the challenges posed by brutality on both sides of the conflict in Kosovo. Air attacks could spark off bitter fighting in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, as well as injuring innocent people.
