Pringle sweeps in at RIBA

Jack Pringle, new head of RIBA plans to pursue a radical new agenda, which is aimed at placing architects back in a position of authority in the construction process, and to increase their standing and remuneration in the industry. One of his key ambitions includes working with government and the wider construction industry to persuade them to recognize the importance of architects in the industry.

Wimpey Red or Dead dream threatened by rival bidder
Article Abstract:
Wimpey's plans for a residential scheme by Red or Dead designers Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway were criticized by North Eastern Railway, a rival bidder for the site. North Eastern wants to build a leisure and commercial development on the site.
