CKD Praha DIZ (Praha, Czech Republic), engineering firm, saw a net profit of 72 mil Kc in 1998. The company will pay dividends of 32 Kc per share from the sum. Its 1998 sales were worth 3.81 bil Kc, 43% more than in 1997. Its 1998 exports generated 1.98 bil Kc and represented 63% of total sales. In 1998 the firm's most important contracts were the reconstruction of two compressor stations for Slovensky plynarenskay priemysel (Slovakia) worth 1.65 bil Kc, technological equipment for the Prague Underground worth 756 mil Kc and equipment for the Strahov tunnel in Prague worth 227 mil Kc. The firm is a subsidiary of the holding engineering company CKD Holding (Prague, Czech Republic).
