Publicis posts 13% rise in revenue

Publicis Groupe S.A. of France posted a 13 percent revenue increase to 1.19 billion Euros ($1.42 billion) in the fourth quarter from 1.05 billion Euros a year earlier. Good results were credited to a series of new accounts and positive conditions in the advertising market worldwide, particularly India, Russia, China and the United States.

Bollore compels Aegis to schedule board elections

In an effort to gain seats , Aegis Group PLC's largest shareholder Vincent Bollore has asked the company to hold new board elections. Aegis is bound to accept this request under British law. Mr. Bollore, who is chairman and largest shareholder of rival Havas S.A. , is in favour of the two companies cooperating.

Fleurot to lead Publicis Worldwide as Bendel leaves
