Revlon has quarterly loss, issues full-year warning
Article Abstract:
Revlon Inc. reported a $3.9 million (3.7 million euros) loss for the second-quarter of 1999. The cosmetics company's figures were partly propelled by charges. Revlon also announced that it is expecting to post lower-than-expected results for the full 1999 year. The company is planning to increase expenditure for marketing. This caused Revlon to predict the disappointing yearly figures.
