Aeroflot weathers air-sector woes

Aeroflot announced that it has not been as affected by the global downturn in air travel as its western competitors, but has still cut its profit forecast for this year by half. The carrier expects a net profit of $7.7 million to $8.4 million (Euro8.5 million to E9.3 million), a decrease from $41.75 million last year.
