SALORA INTL TO INVEST Rs232 Cr MORE, DOUBLE OUTPUT CAPACITY
Article Abstract:
Salora International is investing Rs22 crore for doubling its existing capacity of components plant. It plans to improve the quality of the facility to international standards. It is likely to invest Rs7 crore in expanding its facility at Noida. The funds will come from internal accruals. The component plant was set up in a technical tie-up with Kyushu Matsushita Electric Company of Japan. The capacity of the plant will be increased to five million speakers, 2.5 million deflection yokes and three million flyback transformers per annum. (rk)(m)

CB Richard Ellis, a real estate and property management firm, has got approval from the Foreign Investment Promotion Board to operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of its parent, the CB Richard Ellis group of the US.
