DENMARK: DONG ACQUIRES LICENSE FOR PART OF TRYM
Article Abstract:
The Danish oil- and natural gas company DONG has signed a deal with Norwegian oil company Statoil. DONG is to acquire 20 percent of a Norwegian licence to extract natural gas from the Trym field in the North Sea. The field is situated close to other fields controlled by DONG, meaning that existing infrastructure can readily be used to transport gas to Denmark.
