Aiming to bolster its operations worldwide, U.S.-based auto maker General Motors Corp. is reorganizing its vehicle development, introducing new brands, and launching a U.S. sales promotion to clear out its more than 1.2 million unsold vehicles at home. Nevertheless, job losses are expected in the U.S. and have been the focus of union negotiations in Europe.
