Snapshot of UK gives hope for housing
Article Abstract:
Home: A Place to Live in is an exhibition at the RIBA of New Housing Design Awards. An award winning scheme is the Homes for Change designed by Mills Beaumont Leavey Channon. The maisonette and apartment scheme is designed around a courtyard. Diggers is another scheme where the occupiers assisted in the construction and conceptual planning of their homes, showing how groups of people, together with architects, can produce entirely different results.
