Article Abstract:
Managers are surround by all types of 'systems', generally distinguished by certain attributes that make them difficult to predict and control. The systems tend to be highly non-linear, but computer simulation can be a useful tool to aid managers with their systemic decision environments. System dynamics simulation has become the main tool to support strategic thinking and organizational learning, and the value of the process of model-building has been further enhanced by a combination of system dynamics and system thinking.
