Let your hands do the talking
Article Abstract:
Non-verbal communication often plays a major role in business negotiations. A simple handshake may be interpreted differently by people from different cultures. A recent court case involving a take-over battle was argued primarily over the merit of a parting handshake. Business executives need to be aware of the inherent ambiguities in non-verbal communication and should always obtain additional evidence of anything occurring via communication that is non-verbal.
