Tedium and waste follow the rule of blinkered bureaucracy
Article Abstract:
The sign of the bureaucrats' fascination with law is the Disability Discrimination Act that manages to link threat and righteousness simultaneously. Once the statute is implemented, it is feared that there would be tremendous waste, as people would end up with vast expenditure on under-used and poorly maintained adaptations that do little to ensure satisfactory success.

Palestra, a Pounds Sterling 68 million, 12-storey speculative office development in Southwark created by Alsop Design, is becoming a local landmark.
