Not that good: Turkey's economy

Turkey is experiencing poor economic conditions despite predictions that its growth rate will reach 14% in 1997. A 5% growth rate is more realistic, yet prime minister Necmettin Erbakan's goals to see Turkey's economy improve are not borne out by his economic policies.
