The UK transport group National Express
Article Abstract:
The UK transport group, National Express, has announced on Oct 2000 that it will divest all of its airport interests, except for the Stewart International Airport in the US. The company has employed the services of Merrill Lynch and Company Inc to prepare the prospectus that will be used to evaluate the assets of potential bidders. National Express has decided to retain New York's Stewart International because it only signed the 99- year lease agreement for the the airport in Sep 1999.

Regular profit for medium hubs
Article Abstract:
The airports of Copenhagen in Denmark, Vienna in Austria and Zurich in Switzerland continued profit increases and passenger growth in 1998. For the given period, Vienna moved 10.6 million, Zurich moved 19.3 million and Copenhagen handled 16.8 million passengers. The Austrian facility posted a net output of ATS25 billion ($1.93 billion) for 1998, while the Zurich terminal recorded net profit of SFr45 million ($29.8 million).
