The effects of mergers on company employment in the USA and Europe

Article Abstract:

The effects of mergers and acquisitions on the demand for labor are analyzed in the Europe and USA. It is found that there is no adverse effects in the USA, but, negative effects in Europe of the order of 10 percent compared to pre-merger levels is observed.
