The law and the profits
Article Abstract:
Franzo Grande Stevens is secretary of Fiat's board, chairman of Ferrero and Galbani, and Toro Assicurazioni's deputy chairman. He has also become director of UniCredito Italiano. He is director of Telecom Italia's parent, and opposes a bid for Telecom Italia by Olivetti and is concerned that foreign companies could seek to acquire Telecom Italia. His background in law may mean that he is concerned about tactics, while strategy should be more of a concern for company directors.
