Pillsbury's Pizza Pops "More Stuff to Win" promotion won accolades from the promotions industry for increasing both short term sales and long term positioning. The consumer promotion increased sales during its duration, and it strenghened perception of Pizza Pops with teens. Pillsbury qualitatively tested its concept among teens before execution to ensure it had the top program possible. The feedback the company recieved allowed it to ensure that customer acceptance and market results would be maximized.

Amex banks on savings account
Article Abstract:
American Express Canada Inc is introducing its first savings account in Canada. The savvings account is available only to holders of the Amex credit card, can be accessed only through telephone and has a 4% interest rate. A direct-mail campaign to be launched nationally will support the launch of American Express' new savings account service. The service may eventually be made available also to customers that are not Amex credit card holders.
