The real secret to success and happiness? Self-compassion
Article Abstract:
A series of studies at Wake Forest University in North Carolina, has established that the esteem one holds for one's self in is not as critical a determinant of success and happiness as the compassion one has for one's self. The mantras to increase one's resilience and achieve overall happiness are incorporating some simple internal dialogues like 'I don't have to be perfect to be wonderful.', when feeling defeated.
