Reading body language is an important skill which enables business professionals to go beyond the facts to discover the real person beneath the exterior presentation. Body language can reveal information about a potential new employee which could have positive or negative influences if the person was officially employed. Directors and executives can also employ body language to encourage, lead and assure personnel in the workplace, gaining more from them than a director who appears aggressive and unapproachable.
