The drop in NatWest's share price due to the loss of investors' confidence in the bank's attempt to enter the investment banking market highlights the differences between Britain's relatively impatient investment culture with the rest of Europe. There is no single formula to effectively manage the banking industry but some banks have succeeded where others have failed.
