Thrilled to death
Article Abstract:
There have been deaths from dangerous sports in US national parks which have to decide on which sports should be banned. Enthusiasm for these sports is increasing, and they can be seen on cable TV. There are 370 national parks which have some autonomy in deciding on their rules. The death of Jan Davis in the Yosemite National Park follows her attempt to show that parachuting from Yosemite cliffs was a safe activity, and it has shown that this is not the case.
