Research conducted by Michael Enright and Edith Scott, a visiting professor and an international strategy consultant respectively, indicates that Hong Kong is distancing itself from Singapore as the marquee center for corporate regional headquarters in North Asia. Important critera such as political stability and local management quality were closely attributed to Hong Kong while perceived Indonesian instability proved detrimental for Singapore.

Hutchison adds to cash pile
