The prisoners in Malaysia are abused and tortured regularly as stated by the US military in Iraq, a respected human-rights watchdog at prisons. A protest is made by the Malaysians against the Internal Security Act (ISA) under which the police can arrest and detain an individual for an initial 60 days, and then with Home ministry approval for successive periods of two years.
