Tuna tracking buoys from France
Article Abstract:
The French company Serpe u Iesm has sold around 400 systems consisting of 400,000 tuna tracking buoys in the last five years. The system works by monitoring sea temperature and Global Positioning System position with the information transmitted to the fishing vessel by satellite link.
