UK EC135 deliveries begin
Article Abstract:
McAlpine Helicopters has presented the first UK registered Eurocopter EC135 to the Central Counties Police Air Support Unit. The helicopter, which contains a comprehensive avionics and surveillance fit and a McAlpine centerline role equipment pod, had won certification approval earlier from the UK Civil Aviation Authority. Another law enforcement helicopter, the Eurocopter BK117C-3 G-DCPA, was delivered to the Devon and Cornwall Police Authority. The Eurocopter BK117C, which is equipped with a voice-command system, also can serve as an air ambulance.

BAS confirms EC135
Article Abstract:
Eurocopter will deliver 15 Eurocopter EC135 helicopters worth 40 million pounds sterling to Bond Air Services (BAS). Intended for emergency medical services function, the helicopters are expected to meet BAS' future replacement and new contract growth. Eurocopter will deliver the first aircraft to its UK distributor McAlpine Helicopters. McAlpine will be responsible for the delivery and customization of all 15 helicopters.

Bond allocates EC135 ..
Article Abstract:
Bond Air Services has allocated all six of its initial batch of new Eurocopter EC135 helicopters. One is operational with the Strathclyde Police while a second and third aircraft are allocated to the Scottish Ambulance Service. The fourth aircraft is due to come on line in Jan 2001. The last two aircraft are allocated to the West Midlands Service and Cornwall Ambulance Service, respectively.
