Finding the fast track
Article Abstract:
Fast-tracking the handling of passengers at airports requires close cooperation between airport management and service providers such as airlines. Some airports provide fast-track services such as drive-through and airline terminal concierge staff to lure a bigger percentage of the premium business market. Other service providers, especially government agencies, are launching fast-tracking measures to drive down costs. Fast- tracking, however, could backfire in the form of lower concession sales.
