U.S. files charges in North Korean counterfeit probe

Sean Garland of an Irish Republican Army splinter group has been arrested in Belfast, Northern Ireland in connection with a counterfeiting operation tied to North Korea. The United States Department of Justice spear-headed the campaign and is committed to stop the alleged criminal activities of Pyongyang. The United States is currently in talks to end nuclear nonproliferation with North Korea but a United States official has said, "A country can't negotiate with you while also counterfeiting your currency."
