Ukraine's grim choice
Article Abstract:
Ukraine has greater stability than Russia, and more chances of recovery, but there are concerns about the presidential elections. Ukraine has better relations with its neighbors than Russia, but suffers from economic problems. There is a lack of industrial reform, corruption is a common problem, and wages are low and paid late. Russia aims to influence Ukrainian foreign policy, though relations between Russia and Ukraine would improve if conditions improved in Russia.
