Unilever finds a buyer for some Europe assets

Unilever Group of the United Kingdom is to sell a majority of its European frozen food assets to Permira Funds. Permira Funds is a private equity investor and is paying 1.73 billion Euros ($2.21 billion) for the businesses. Unilever will retain ice-cream products units including Ben & Jerry's as well as Findus an Italian frozen food business.

Eurazeo sets deal to buy Apcoa

Eurazeo of France is to purchase APCOA/Standard Parking Inc. of the United States for 885 million Euros ($1.16 billion). The parking services company operates in 13 countries, including Germany, the United Kingdom and Scandinavia.
