Unseemly, unending
Article Abstract:
Italian opposition leader, Silvio Berlusconi, is to face a new trial relating to allegations that he has tried to bribe judges. Berlusconi argues that this move is politically motivated, and public reaction on the issue is confused. The political career of Berlusconi is linked to his legal problems which include charges relating to funding of political parties. Berlusconi denies the charges, and also appears to imply that bribery was necessary for those in business in Italy during the 1980s.
