Videotron, Bell square off in Quebec
Article Abstract:
Videotron has placed full-page ads in major dailies in Montreal and Quebec City accusing Bell Canada of false advertising. Videotron claims that Bell engaged in half-truths in its ads during the Olympics touting its Sympatico High Speed Edition and Bell ExpressVu services. The ads for sympatico declare that Internet cable service slows down when used by many in the same neighborhood. Videotron countered Bell's claim saying that that it provides faster services even if people in the same district share the line.
