Why the EU arms embargo should stay
Article Abstract:
In 1989, the European Union imposed an arms embargo against China to express its displeasure with the then ruling Chinese regime for brutality on peaceful demonstration at Tiananmen Square. There is a vested interest amongst certain EU countries suggesting the removal of the ban. The reasons why such embargo should not be removed are presented.
