Will China Airlines' rebound stall? Accident poses setback for Taiwan carrier after safety improvements

The cause of an explosion that destroyed a China Airlines Company Ltd. jetliner is still under investigation. The crew was able to evacuate all 157 passengers. Aircraft manufacturer Boeing Co. and the jet engine joint venture of Snecma and General Electric Co. are cooperating with the investigation. China Airlines had made safety improvements after a flight to Hong Kong crashed in 2002.

Russia's Superjet is high-stakes bet
