X marks the spot
Article Abstract:
Uranus was discovered in 1781, then Neptune followed in 1846, and Pluto in 1930, and a tenth planet may have been discovered in 1999. The Open University's John Murray, from Britain, and University of Southwestern Louisiana's John Matese have both concluded that a tenth planet could exist, by separately examining the same data. They have examined data from comet orbits, and they disagree on the exact location of this possible tenth planet. The object could be a brown dwarf star rather than a planet.

Twinkle, twinkle, giant planet
Article Abstract:
Research on planets and stars has shown that it may not always be easy to tell the two apart. Small 'dwarf' stars and giant planets of a similar mass mean that stellar astronomy and planetary astronomy can overlap. Each discipline has to understand the other in order to assess that they are not confusing stars with planets. Information on the temperature and chemical composition of stars can be assessed from their light emissions. A continuum appears to exist between stars and planets.
