Anthropometric evaluation for primary school furniture design
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to determine the appropriateness of furniture design for children's anthropometry in schools in Hong Kong where musculoskeletal symptoms are a major problem among schoolchildren. It was observed that chairs used by children were not of the required height though seat depth was found appropriate and recommendations on the sizes of desks and chairs for children are discussed.
