Article Abstract:
EC III, Inc., Albuquerque, N.M., is being awarded an increment as part of a $32,137,599 (base year total) cost-plus-award-fee contract, with a cumulative total of $281,653,011, for non-personal services in support of the testing mission at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, Ariz. The services include operation, maintenance, engineering, project test support, analysis and other test support services for the Material Test Directorate. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 60 bids solicited on Aug. 26, 1998, and two bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Test & Evaluation Command, Yuma, Ariz. (DAAD01-99-C-0003).

Oshkosh Truck Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., is being awarded a $15,173,150 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 44 M984 and 9 M978 Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Trucks (HEMTT) and non-recurring engineering for reflective tape, LED lighting and HEMTT corrosion. Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wis., and is expected to be completed by July 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 26, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-95-C-X057).
