Bill provides DD(X) rescue: Raptor, JSF, FCS fare well

The House and Senate conferees have produced a $441.54 billion defense authorization bill for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2006, that preserves a wide array of weapons acquisitions programs. The defense authorization bill will be providing funds for the Navy's next-generation DD(X) destroyer program, Air Force's C-130J transport aircraft, F-22A Raptor, the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF), Predator unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and the CV-22 Osprey.
